Shortly after the game, Joseph Fonfoni, team captain of Mile One Kumbo, expressed disappointment, stating that his team had entered the match with the intention to win. He said, “I was expecting a victory, not a draw. But whatever the case, I remain positive. We will prepare and continue training, eagerly awaiting our next match. To the fans, stay positive, because we will make it.”

Wilfred Sunjo, the coach of Dzekwa Rangers, expressed his dissatisfaction with the game, admitting that he had expected his boys to secure a win despite the challenging weather conditions. He said, “I am not happy with the game. Due to the poor weather, it was not easy. However, we are hoping for the best, and I have taken away some valuable lessons from today’s match. I will work on them with the team, and we will come back stronger.”

In the second match of the day, an intense battle unfolded between NDECA FC and Kinkerangker FC, with NDECA emerging victorious with a 1-0 score line, secured through a penalty. The relentless rain posed an additional challenge, adding to the difficulty of the game. However, both teams displayed immense resilience and determination, showcasing their exceptional skills despite the adverse weather conditions.

The downpour failed to dampen the spirits of the players from NDECA FC and Kinkerangker FC, who demonstrated commendable teamwork and strategic play throughout the match. The relentless rain seemed to fuel their motivation, as they adapted their playing styles to the slippery field and the unpredictable movements of the ball. Both teams exhibited remarkable skills, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats.
