The Bonteh Digital Media Awards for 2020 have been announced.
The information is contained in a press release signed Tuesday, September 8, by Ajongakou Santos, BDMA Chief Communications Officer.
This year’s event whose date and venue are yet to be communicated would “reemphasize on encouraging hard work, promote talent and competition in the digital media landscape in Cameroon and for Cameroonians at home and in the diaspora”
In making public the notice, the organising committee and partners of Bonteh Media said they were pleased to inform the national and international community that, activities leading to the Bonteh Digital Media Awards are officially open.
According to the organisation’s president, Bonteh Engelbert, “Following the pandemic that has plagued the world and Cameroon in particular, this year’s event has been dubbed ‘The Special Edition’, if not for anything, but to celebrate in a special way those who, no matter the trials and tribulations have made us dream through their works.”
The release further stated that BDMA is committed to making this year’s event Bigger, Better and Greater.
Last year’s event, on December 17, took place at the La Falaias Diamond hall in Douala.
The winners ranged from the world of tech to that of digital marketing and communications.
