Buea Preseason Tournament: Istanbul, Buea United, Mt Cameroon, Babungo SA progress into Semifinals

The first phase of the maiden edition of the Ako Eyong Sports Management Buea Preseason Tournament going on at the GMI field, Clerk’s Quarters was completed on December 12, with the top two clubs in Pools A&B progressing to the next stage.

The competition began with seven clubs in the subdivision and has moved into a phase of the big guns. These are teams that were excellent during the group stage of the tournament with Istanbul FA and Buea United FC being the only sides not to have conceded defeat. Soccer for 4 Hope bowed out with a point.

The clubs observed two days of rest, Friday and Saturday.  They return to the green turf on Sunday, December 15, to demonstrate their prowess to the soccer family in the city of excellence.
