The young administrator, according to sources, was driving back home from Molyko around 2.00am when his car lost control and hit a tree beside the road.

It is suspected that the car crash was due to over speeding because the tree it hit was uprooted.

The car rammed into a tree near a high tension electric pole. The collision was between the tree, and the car’s driver’s door. The impact knocked down the huge tree, and in the process, the branches brushed the high tension cables.

Some residents around the area said at the time of the incident, electricity sparks flashed in the air, followed by a loud sound.

The 34-year-old Stephanus Tangwa is said to have been ferried to the hospital immediately after the incident.

It is supposed the police called for questioning those who he was believed to have been with, in the night of Saturday breaking Sunday.

Stepahnus Tangwa hails from Bui Division in the Northwest Region. He was posted to the Southwest Governor’s Office in 2017 after graduating from the National School of Administration and Magistracy, ENAM, in 2016.

The deceased is believed to be the son of former Senior Divisional Officer, Joseph Tangwa.
