The Big Money side after matchday two sat third on the table with three points behind NQSA and PWD of Kumba with four points each. The club sponsored by the council of the town of friendship failed to convert their chances at the Molyko Omni sports stadium against a determined PWD side that stated their intent in the eight-minute and saw the game through.

The final games proved to be one which any three of the four teams could qualify to represent the region at the nationals with the lone exception being Continental Football Academy who was already booted out after losing to LIFCA in matchday one by a goal to nothing and to NQSA by two goals to one in the second matchday. So the stage was set for a champion to be crowned.

The last day of play featured PWD of Kumba versus Continental Football Academy at the Limbe Centenary Stadium and the local derby between LIFCA and NQSA at the Limbe Middle Farms Stadium.

It was NQSA who began on a good footing, playing the textbook style of football, but LIFCA always looked the more likely to get a goal and so they did in the opening 12 minutes. By half time, LIFCA had doubled their lead but after the break, a rash challenge from Cerezo Moutarou saw the referee give him the marching orders which meant NQSA had to play a little over 25 minutes with ten men.

Four goals followed suit and half of Limbe was leaping with joy. The LIFCA fans were banging the drums and singing songs of victory. It is a shame to say their joy was short-lived as come 90 minutes, information from the Centenary Stadium sent a cold shiver down the spines of Limbe supporters as it was PWD of Kumba who qualified top with seven points courtesy of a three-nil bashing of Continental Football Academy.
