Coach Stephane Ndzana Publishes List 30 Ladies for U17 Training Camp

A.S AWA FF sensation, Brenda Tabe, author of 15 goals in 12 games for her club this season, and Maague Mariane Ines defender for Northwest outfit Vision Sports FC Bamenda, are some of the outstanding football players, called into the camp of the U17 Lionesses of Cameroon squad.

Stephane Ndzana Ngono, Head Coach of the baby Lionesses of Cameroon, called to camp the 30 players, in order to prepare for the qualifiers for the FIFA U17 women’s World Cup, scheduled for India later this year.

The first training camp will run from Wednesday, January 22nd to January 31st, in Yaoundé. The gaffer has summoned four goalkeepers, eight defenders, 10 midfielders and eight attackers.

Only players born on or after January 1, 2003, are eligible to compete in the tournament. Three teams will qualify to represent CAF in competition. Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa were exempted from the preliminary round of qualifiers.

The 7th edition of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup will take place in India, and shall run for 20days from November 2-21, 2020.
