Super Saturday: Clubs Decide Their Fate In SWR Championship

by Atlantic Chronicles

Second round matches in the Southwest Regional League were special for some clubs while others returned home licking their wounds.

Some clubs had to wait till the last playing day, June 22, 2019, to decide their fate. Pool B which was dominated by CUSA, EEMSA, and Buea United FC, saw a new club, Continental FA alias the Gra-Gra boys, overshadow previous leaders to top the chart. LIFCA continued in their fine form as they humbled Tiko United alias Samba boys 2-1. In Pool C, NQSA triumphed over City rivals ISHOSA 2-1 while CINYODEV FA also separated on the same score with Ajax FC Likomba.
