Abunde Pascal the Club President who was present at the training ground told both new and old players about the ideology of the club, “It’s an honour to put on the blue and white of PWD. We are trying to put up a team that reflects the ideology that we have, which is our team spirit.” He said.

Encouraging the 24 players on training, Coach David Pagou said “Some old players are not here today because of indiscipline and lack of trust. I encourage you all to stay away from such behaviours for the success of our team.”

The club is on the verge of signing former Unisport and Astress goalkeeper Heschou Keridou. The Abakwa Boys are expected to carry-out two training sessions daily, before their friendly game with the National football team of South Sudan on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium.
